These terms govern your use of ideaBraid (the “app”) and its license. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them.

License

The free Reader lets anyone open, view, present, and export maps at no cost. An Editor license is a one-time purchase that unlocks editing features for you across macOS, Windows, and Linux. The license includes one year of updates from the date of purchase; an optional annual renewal extends updates. The app continues to function whether or not you renew.

Your license is for your personal or business use. You may not resell, sublicense, or distribute license keys.

Refunds

We offer a 15-day money-back guarantee. If ideaBraid isn’t right for you, email us within 15 days of purchase for a full refund.

Ownership of your content

Your maps and their contents are yours. We claim no rights over anything you create. Because the app is local-first, we never receive your content in the first place.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer license validation, circumvent the trial, or use the app to break the law. The app is provided “as is,” without warranty; to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
